3 practical AI tips for the week

I have been quiet for the past 2 months or so. I just needed a break from the weekly writing but now I’m back. I used to try sending this out on Mondays but with my flex schedule, I think it’s going to be a bit more variable from now on.

Here’s a quick update on some of the new developments in the world of AI.

Quick AI development #1: Branch Out in ChatGPT

You can now branch a conversation in ChatGPT. Hover over any message, click the ⋯ menu, and select “Branch in new chat.”

Now you won’t have to scroll back up and locate those sections of the conversation where you veered off into a different path. You can just branch off and rename the chat so that you will be able to easily refer back to it in the future.

Try it for:

  1. Drafting 3 versions of a LinkedIn post.

  2. Testing multiple strategies for a proposal.

  3. Running A/B creative prompts without losing your base thread.

I think this is a nice feature that the ChatGPT team has added.
