First off, I wish you a very Happy New Year. May 2025 bring you moments of clarity and insight into the true meaning of being human even as we explore what AI brings this year. In some ways, the more I interact with AI, the more I discover about myself. How about you?

If you’re curious how I created the video above, I used Hedra. It’s one of the best for generating good lip sync and natural head motions. I created my avatar using Midjourney, imported it into Hedra and used the text→video to generate the final video.

Need some interesting ideas for side hustles? These say 2024 but they are just as applicable for 2025.

LTX Studio brings innovations to AI image editing

In the latest release, LTX introduces a few user interface tweaks which is worth mentioning. In case you’re not familiar with LTX, it’s for helping you bring your story to life by using an AI workflow that handles it all—characters, scenes, dialogue, and even automatic storyboarding.

Need to tweak something? Edit every frame in real-time! Control character expressions, camera angles, generative fill and object removal. I wish some of these features are in Midjourney.

In the video below, I’m showing an example of how you can change the facial expressions and also head tilt of the character that has been generated.

Stay tuned… I think 2025 will bring many advancements in the arena of AI video generation.

An interesting use case for Cursor

Most people are using Cursor to help them write code. And it’s really good at doing that. I’ve used it myself for creating simple Web apps and even an iPhone app. But recently I came across a post on X by @mattppal which is using Cursor for a really unique use case - version control for your AI prompts. He’s basically using it as his prompt library. Here’s a YouTube video where he explains what he does.

Testing AI Agents

If you don’t want to write code to create AI agents, you can still test out workflows using AI agents with no-code platforms. One of these that I’ve tested is Lindy.

There are many ready-made templates on Lindy that will get you started. Here’s an example of a workflow that I created. This workflow will take a YouTube video URL, transcribe the video, let you ask questions about the topics mentioned in the video and the create a Google Doc that is automatically saved to your Google Drive.

What are your AI goals for 2025?

In 2025, I definitely want to explore more in these areas:

  1. Using AI to build useful applications (for myself and also my clients)

  2. Investigate the potential of AI agents

  3. Educate and train more people in using AI

How about you? What are some of your AI goals this year?
